The history of a skateboard in a nutshell

He goes down the ramp, then he does a tre flip into a crooked grind and lands it. How does a skateboard work to make this possible?

Over the years skateboarding has really changed here are some ways:

The skateboards wheels have gone from clay/plastic wheels to polyurethane.

Skateboard decks have gone from weird flat decks to big rounded decks that you see today.

Skateboard trucks used to be a solid piece of metal that was shaped but now they’re turnable trucks .

The old bearings used to be old and shaky but now they’re not as loud and they aren't jugged by the abec (Abec is the scale of speed and what they can handle).

When skateboarding started there was zero tricks but now there‘s at least 209 tricks.

When skateboarding first beagan zero people were skating but now there is 85 million people skateboarding.

In the 80’s  the decks huge decks that were in a shape called “old school’. They had big flat but round at the end of the wheels.

They used skate rails (skate rails give you better slide on the rails). The trucks were wide and skinny they were made for vert (ramps that go almost vertically down and they turn to a ramp at the bottom) but today they are used for cruising down the streets.

These are the parts of the skateboard and how they have changed. Out of all the decks I know about I would keep the ones we have now, including future decks. If back to the future was right it would be fun to go on a hoverboard but you couldn't do any tricks.
